Many people will tell you that all you have to do to be saved is say the sinner's prayer.  If you don't know or haven't heard that prayer, then here it is:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

But what I say to you is that while saying that prayer is fine, there is one other thing that you must do.  What is that you ask?  You must believe with your heart, mind, and soul that what you say in the prayer is true.

You can say the above prayer and still not be saved.  Again I say to you, you must believe these things with ALL your heart, mind, and soul.

We say things every day and do not believe them. We say we believe something is true, but yet we wonder if it is or not.  So when you say this prayer, you must believe these things with ALL your heart, mind, and soul.

If you pray this prayer, believe totally in the prayer you are praying, then you will Be Ready for Christ!

You will see your life change if you let God take control.  Study His Word.  Find a church to attend, listen and learn.   Give yourself to Christ.  Pray often for guidence.  Confess your sins to Him.  And PRAY some more.  Let Him lead you in your walk with Him.
