Again I want to say that one day Christ is returning to this earth again in a bodily, visible form, lets look at some of the prophecies of His return. Many listed here will just be the verse numbers, but some I will give you the verses. One thing to think about is that in the OT there were over 300 prophecies of Christ's first coming. Now, they came true and the odds of it happening were so high that we cannot fathom it. So if His first coming was so accurately prophesied, then why cannot we believe that His second coming will also happen? It is and will happen. Psalms 2:6 - 9Psalms 22:27 - 31 Psalms 132:13 - 18 (13)For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. Isa 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it. Isa 2:3 And many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. Isa 2:4 And He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war. Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 11:3 - 9 Isa 24:23 Then the moon will be abashed and the sun ashamed, For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, And His glory will be before His elders. Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. Jer 33:15 'In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous Branch of David to spring forth; and He shall execute justice and righteousness on the earth. Jer 33:16 'In those days Judah will be saved and Jerusalem will dwell in safety; and this is the name by which she will be called: the LORD is our righteousness.' Eze 37:24 - 28 (27) "My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. Eze 43:7 He said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their harlotry and by the corpses of their kings when they die, Daniel 7:13 - 27 Hosea 3:4 - 5 Joe 3:17 Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will pass through it no more. Joe 3:21 And I will avenge their blood which I have not avenged, For the LORD dwells in Zion. Micah 4:1 - 7 (7)"I will make the lame a remnant And the outcasts a strong nation, And the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from now on and forever. Zechariah 2:10 - 13 (11) "Many nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you Zec 8:3 "Thus says the LORD, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.' Zechariah 14:4 - 9 Mat 25:31 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. Luk 1:32 "He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; Luk 1:33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end." The above list is not a total list of verses of His return, but if you look through these, you can see it was prophesied many times that He is going to return and will set up His rule here on earth. One thing you need to do above all, and that is Get Ready for Christ as He is coming again. |
